Bhakti began as a way to answer one small question every morning — what day is it, really — and became something we owe more to than that.
Faith in India has always been carried by institutions that give as much as they ask: the kitchen behind the shrine, the hand that lights a hundred lamps and not only its own. That is the shape we want to grow into. We are at the beginning of it, and we would rather say so plainly than dress the beginning up as an arrival.
The four promises on the mission page are dated and public. If a year passes and none of them has moved, that is a fair thing to point at.
सेवा

Devotion that stops at the shrine is only half of itself. Seva — service asked of no one and owed to everyone — is the half we intend to grow into.
We want to say this exactly as it stands: Bhakti runs no charitable programme today, has collected nothing, and has funded nothing. What we have is a commitment, a direction, and the intention to publish every rupee of it when there is a rupee to publish.
